GUNJAN Organisation for Community Development – established in the year 2003 is actively providing community services in the domain of Public Health i.e. HIV/AIDS Prevention, Care, Support and treatment; Drug and Alcohol Prevention, Treatment and Rehabilitation of people addicted to drugs; services for senior citizens; Empowering Women; Education of Women and Children.
The organisation is designated as Regional Resource and Training Centre North Zone – II by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India under the Scheme of Prevention of Alcoholism and Substance(Drugs) Abuse for the states of Himachal Pradesh, Chandigarh, and Jammu and Kashmir.

Radio Gunjan FM 91.2 MHz Community Radio Station broadcasts continuously 24×7, covering a 30 km radius around Dharamshala, reaching estimated population of 6 lakhs.

नशा मुक्त ऊना अभियान के तहत "स्टडी" में हुआ उजागर:
स्कूलों में वरिष्ठ कक्षाओं में अध्ययनरत लगभग "हर सातवें छात्र" ने किसी न किसी तरह के नशीले पदार्थ को इस्तेमाल किया।
इनमे पचास फीसदी छात्रों को यह नशीला पदार्थ उनके "दोस्तों" द्वारा ऑफर किया गया।
जिन छात्रों के परिजन नशा करते हैं उनमें नशा करने का जोखिम दोगुना
